As a big fan of Vietnamese cuisine, I found the flavors of the food we had to be inconsistent. The pho broth was too salty for my liking, and the fried calamari had an excessive amount of breading. However, the bo luc lac was delicious. The service was friendly!
We were at Park Slope and came across this place for early dinner. The ambiance was warm and cozy. I had a beef banh mi and it came out pretty quick. It was loaded with pickled veggie but could use a bit more meat. Extra meat is an option on the menu. My sister had a vermicelli and it took a bit longer to make. I tried some grilled pork from her vermicelli. Overall the food was good.
Love this spot. It was quiet and calm on a Saturday night. Food was definitely delicious and . Would definitely come back again
I stumbled into this hidden gem in the search for food near Methodist Hospital. I found out the hard way that they're closed on Monday's, they really need to update their site. The food is constantly good, from the Pho, grilled pork chops to Lemongrass shrimp all very tasty, along with the yummy fried rice. You also get a great deal with the lunch specials. The service leaves a lot to be desired. Although the staff is pleasant, it sucks when our food is delivered at separate times. I waited 20 minutes for a side order of grilled pork chops, that was ordered with everything else. I'm also highly disappointed appointhat I paid $10 for one tiny piece. Other than that I love this place, and will be back whenever I'm in the mood.
Beautiful interior for the experience. The food was awesome! Pho tai, brother wasn't as rich but still delicious with herbal flavors. Ca kho tho, salmon clay pot- super yummy and crispy. Bo luc lac- super yummy and flavorful! Fish ball skewers, pot stickers, and frog legs- all great. Employees were sweet and kind, we got everything we needed.
